Who We Are

Vector One IT Solutions was built to bridge a frustrating gap: too many organizations need enterprise-grade IT support but can’t justify the overhead. We’re here for those teams. Based in Albany and deeply rooted throughout upstate New York, Vermont, and Massachusetts, we provide tailored technology solutions designed to help businesses, schools, nonprofits, and local governments thrive. Today, we support over 100 clients with hundreds of solutions, because one-size-fits-all never works when your operations are on the line.

Our Founder

Rich Hoult has been working in the IT field since graduating from the College of Saint Rose in 1987. Starting his IT career as a computer programmer, Rich has built a strong technical foundation that has continually expanded as new technologies have emerged throughout his career.

Since 1999, Rich has served as an IT consultant, designing and implementing solutions that vary widely in scope and complexity. His work has supported organizations of all sizes, ranging from one-person startups to enterprise clients with thousands of users across multiple locations. Throughout his consulting career, Rich has worked closely with professionals at every level of client organizations, advising senior leadership, first-level IT support teams, and end users.
